Short Story
"Sanjh Aur Savera" illustrates how joys and sorrows are interlinked. After the death of Pundit Dinnanath his daughter Gauri becomes an orphan. Madhusudan, a pleader, adopts her into his family. Madhusudan's daughter runs away from her marriage on the very day of her marriage. The circumstances force Gauri to step into pleader's daughter's shoes and marry Dr. Shankar. Gauri and Dr. Shankar live happily unil Maya, the daughter of lawer Madhusudan, who was supposed to marry Dr. Shankar, appear and calamities begin to appear.
